Has anyone here played strife?

While I was using doomseeker earlier I noticed a strife deathmatch.

Reminded me that game existed and I played the first few missions.

So I was wondering who else here has played, or at least heard of strife and what did they think about it.

What type of Doomer would I be if I didn't have every single game on the engine? Of course. Strife is awesome.

Hehehe... I remember Strife. It was like Hexen with missions, but in one giant hub instead of several.

It could have had a better final boss, though.

I played a bit one day when I was bored. But i should restart the game because I don't remember, but I made a mistake in one of the missions.

I loved that FPS-RPG thing. Too bad it didn't had a sequel or something.

But yeah, I played a bit of it. It seems pretty nice, but I haven't given it much of a chance. I'll probably get more into in the future.

Heh, the build engine sure has some weird unknown games to it, though i did play Strife. And the "Work, sleep and get tortured, what a life" line was used for GVH's Engineer as well it seems, probaly using the sprites of one of Strife's characters too, no idea which one though.

I suppose my favourite of the build games will remain Duke Nukem 3D, though. If i am correct about the engine, could be another platform im talking about.
