Project X Zone - A Game of Crossovers
« on: July 11, 2013, 03:55:55 PM »
Basically it is a tactical crossover RPG for the 3DS with characters from Capcom, Namco Bandai, and Sega in it. Some game series include Street Fighter, Resident Evil, Xenosaga, Sakura Wars, Virtua Fighter, Tekken, .hack, Darkstalkers, Devil May Cry, Ghost 'n Goblins and more. More importantly, this game has Megaman X, Zero, Vile, Tron, and even the Servbots in it.

Here is a sample of videos that are worth watching.
An attack exhibition  of Mega Man X and Zero (plus Tron)

A chapter that introduces Tron

And the opening of the game itself

I've read a bit about this game. Problem is, I don't know 90% of the characters so I have little motivation to get it. 3 of the characters I do know I know very briefly, so it's almost like I only know X and Zero.

Whenever I do see footage of X and Zero doing stuff they've done in the X series I get real hyped up though, so I seriously credit the creators for including all that.

Well how about thinking of it this way, even if you don't know a majority of of the characters, it might be worth getting anyways just to understand those characters and the games they are from. Who knows, Project X might even get you interested in other game series if the characters seem interesting enough. Even if your still not going to get the game, you can still at least watch videos of it on youtube for free anyways.

I've had a lot of fun with the game. Also the soundtrack is good too.

Well, I got the demos from the 3DS eShop, and it definitely has my money! It has a huge cast. you can play as over 50 characters, and these people include X, Zero, Frank West(my favorite!), Hsien-Ko, Jin Kazama, Dante, Ken, and Ryu! I truly love the gameplay and the art style! I'm only familiar with probably a max amount of 15 characters, but I'd love this game! I highly reccommend it for people who love the gameplay of videogames.

It's an amazing game so far! I'm stuck on Chapter 21 right now because of the amount of enemies (and them gang-raping the characters for some insane damage at times, I'm looking at you Lord Raptor >_>)

My favorite teams are X and Zero, Xiaomu and Reiji, Frank West and Lei-Lei (I forget her english name), Kite and BlackRose, Soma and Alisa, Akira and Pai , Haken and Kaguya, KOS-MOS and T-elos, Yuri and Estelle, and Kurt and Relia.

Solo unit-wise? I love Bahn, Arthur, Flynn, and Heihachi.

I'm a little surprised for this somewhat lack of hype for this game.

Maybe seeing Arthur in his shorts while interacting with all the main characters will add more hype.

Trons are better   :D

Especially if you're a huge Dead Rising fan. I'm actually surprised tron didnt say anything to frank about the use of Servbot heads in Dead Rising...
