I get an execution error and zandronum has to be closed. Is it just that the expansions aren't built for the new version of mm8bdm?

Try loading Justified Classes as a test first. That specific .wad should work. If not, then that might be a bigger issue.

The mod probably needs to get updated or the core game is not used to mod files yet in its current version
