WELCOME TO THE SUPER SMASH BROS. FOR 3DS TOURNAMENT. I'LL BE YOUR HOST, WATZUP7856.

As Jdude mentioned in his tournament topic, I would be hosting a Smash Bros. tournament when I feel like it's a good time. Now I think it's a great time to host a Smash tourney because I believe everyone has a feel for the mechanics now, plus Smash Bros. is still fresh. Without further adieu, here are the rules and guidelines.

Before the actual tournament, there will be pools for seeding. The groups for seeding will be randomized once everyone signs up. Everyone will have a best of 3 match against everyone in their group. The rules are the same as the tournament, except that it will be 2 stock with 5 minutes. This makes it so organizing the bracket is a lot easier.

The tournament will be double elimination, meaning if you lose a set, you won't be out completely.
